Where is the nearest supermarket?

ASDA Highbridge Superstore is 3 miles away and offers a click and collect service. It is open 7am to 10pm Monday to Saturday and 10am to 4pm on Sundays. There is also a Tesco, Lidl and Aldi within a 5 mile radius.

Is the Farmhouse close to the Wall Eden Farm and Activities Centre?

Yes, a 2 minute drive away you will find Wall Eden Farmshop and Wall Eden Farm Activities. Contact them directly to book activities. If you tell them you are booked in at the Farmhouse next door you will be entitled to a discount on activities. Wall Eden Farm has a Cafe/Bar. Check their website for opening times. 

Where is the nearest beach?

The sandy beaches and seaside town of Burnham-on-Sea is 3 miles away and Weston-Super-Mare is 9 miles away and has children’s amusements. Kilve and Lilstock is a 35 minutes drive and is famous for its fossils. Lyme Regis is approximately 55 mins drive and has great boat sea fishing. Ask for Harry he’s a fantastic fisherman.

Can I bring my dog?

Absolutely, you can bring your dog. Well trained dogs are permitted, who do not bark excessively, and are kept on a lead when on adjacent activity centre. They can run around the 3/4 acre garden and land provided they come to owner when commanded as there are sheep, deer and badger, so probably best to keep on lead if not used to farm animals. A maximum number of 3 dogs can stay with an additional £10.00 per dog per night to cover cleaning costs. Dogs are welcome to go to the adjacent Farmshop and Bar if on the lead.

We use CCTV cameras at our premises for crime prevention and safety reasons. Telephone calls may be recorded for training and monitoring purposes.

Can I have early/late check in?

Yes, absolutely collect your keys from a key safe outside the door. The code will be issued with the booking information. Timings are 3pm check-in and 11am check-out. You can request and book a later checkout time in advance at a cost of £25.00. Early check-ins are free, subject to confirming availability first.

How do I access the property?

A key code will be sent to you with booking information. The key code box is by the door.

What size is the Farmhouse and garden area?

The Farmhouse area inside is 135m2 and the outdoor garden area is 3/4 of an acre. This private area is for your use while on holiday.

What to do if there is a heating or appliance failure?

If there is power outage, loss of water pressure, heating or appliance failure please call the contact number on the booking form/in the guest information.
